Renato Corona's SALN Submitted to Strengthen Case Against Him
Supreme Court Clerk of Court Atty. Enriqueta Esguerra-Vidal, one of the witnesses in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona has released the statements, assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) of the Chief Justice as evidence in the ongoing impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.
Any discrepancy in Corona’s SALN from 2002 to 2010 will be used as a strong evidence by the prosecutors to convince the Senate to convict the Chief Justice.
Meanwhile, prosecution spokesperson Miro Quimbo explains to the media that Article 2 of the articles of impeachment does not only include the disclosure of Chief Justice Corona’s SALN but also to prove the allegedly ill-gotten wealth of Corona.
