The documents found at Osama bin Laden's Abbottabad, Pakistan compound revealed a vital piece of proof that Al-Qaida was planning to hit the U.S. again this September on the 9/11 10-year anniversary.
Target? Trains.
In a for "official use only" warning obtained by the Associated Press, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) advised law enforcement agencies that as of February 2010, Al-Qaida "was allegedly considering conducting an operation against trains at an unspecified location in the United States on the 10th anniversary of September 11, 2001".
"Al-Qai'da was looking into trying to tip an unspecified US rail track so that a train would fall off the track at a valley or a bridge," the department further stated.
