Mark Zuckerberg Warns Filipino About Spreading Facebook Pornography

Mark Zuckerberg Warns Filipino About Spreading Facebook Pornography

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook founder and CEO, releases on November 16, 2011 an online statement and warning to Filipino Facebook users regarding the spreading of spams and pornographic photos.

Read below:

The porn attacks originated in the Philippines and are being published by Filipinos all over Facebook, our experts here at Facebook are doing everything they can to stop it from spreading any further (outside the Philippines) and to eliminate the porn and spam threat completely which have been causing other Facebook users ‘a hard time’. Filipinos should also be vigilant and report any spam links and pornographic materials. 41% of Facebook members around the world are aged 12-17 years old, we cannot be exposed to this kinds of things through Facebook. If this continues and more spams keep being posted, we will have no choice but to ban Philippine users from using Facebook. We at Facebook will not tolerate outlandish behavior and indecency."

Facebook currently has been attacked by 4 viruses. So eliminate and help stop this disrespectful behavior by hackers, check below reminders:

1. If you get a notice of a PHOTO TAG. Do not open it.

2. If you get a notification that a friend reported you for offensive behavior etc. Do not open it.

3. Is a Video saying 99% of People can not watch this for more the 15 Sec. Do not open it is also a virus.

4. All Messages from your friends via chat saying click this link. Do not open! These are BAD ones and will crash your computer.

Well, if Mark Zuckerburger does ban Filipinos from facebook, you can bet that either 4 of the following things will happen:
a.) National I.Q. will increase since majority of the Filipino people are no longer dawdling over a website that offers social life “luxuries” and will turn their attention to more resourceful activities on the internet. I mean, is it really worth spending your time liking then commenting on your friends sisters fathers recent visit to the mall or something?

b.) Rape and sexual harassment in the Philippines will increase exponentially, since facebook is the only thing stopping Filipinos from being influenced by online pornography 24/7.

c.) EDSA 4 (that will dwarf EDSA 3, EDSA 2 and 1)

d.) All of the above

Well, if this statement made by Mr.Zuckerberg is true, then I must say this is a little bit harsh— especially to us Filipinos. It’s sad because Filipinos are also victims of the hackers who made these pornographic contents available. Moreover, it is the responsibility of the Facebook Team to ensure that hackers cannot penetrate Facebook since like the CEO said, most of the users are aged 12-17 years old, and of course, we do not want these young minds to be corrupted. Come to think of it, these hackers may not be even Filipinos. They could have just spread it over to Filipino users who unknowingly clicks on links they thought their friends sent them. Bottomline is, this statement, if it’s true, is very racist. Who cares if Facebook bans Filipino users? It’s not like it’s gonna be end of the world when it happens. Facebook isn’t just the only social networking site that available for us Filipinos to use. Yeah, we know they have great games and stuff, but who knows, maybe other social networking sites could develop or partner with some of the games and apps that Facebook is already associated with. Google+ is already on it’s way and I could say that Google+ may be a threat to Facebook.

OH ITS FROM THE INTERNET, IT HAS TO BE TRUE!!! Nope. No link to an official statement. Fake.

This is not true. Mark Zuckerberg didn't say such thing nor any one from facebook did. This is just a hoax. You might want to read some blogs regarding this, it is true that there are some porn attacks but they were not particular as to where exactly the attack orginated from let alone they haven't figured or traced where it was from. And to ban the whole country because of some individuals doing shitty things which could be done by anyone in this world is completely absurd and discriminating.

That statement is so unfair. how can he say that most of the users are Filipinos who have been posting pornographic links? If he really commented that, better think twice. Who even started such a social networking site? he should have foreseen that using social networking may also lead to pornography. he should have done something about that in the first place. whoever thinks that Filipinos are the ones who started such obscene things online, better think again. Who even started the idea of FREEDOM? I say "too much FREEDOM" i wont mention any race, you know WHO YOU ARE!

The message is an absurd hoax and should not be reposted again. Please don't spread stuff like this. Mark Zuckerberg has made no such statement. The Philippines is the 7th largest FB population in the world and currently the number 1 market by percentage. Facebook will not ban the Philippines.
